What did you learn?

What were you proud of?

* That I could keep the rhythm – “Big–little, Big-little, Big-little ...

*That I could jump the big, long rope.

*I can jump high, fast and backwards.

What was tricky for you?

*Little ropes are hard to do.

*Keeping the rhythm – “Big/little, Big/little ...

*Flipping the rope over my body.

*Trying not to get hit by the rope.

*Waiting my turn.

*Waiting for the rope turners.

What will we do next?

*Show resilience, keep trying again and again.

Reading Eggs is helping me to read.

"I like Reading Eggs.  I do it at home and at school.  It is easy to do.  I am on level 44. When I get stuck my Mum and Dad help me."

I am learning to sound out vowels as the middle sounds, and write silly sentences.

"I like to write Silly Sentences because they are funny.  They are easy for me to write because I know the words."

Decorating Our Hat

What did you learn?

* How to draw lots of different patterns.

What were you proud of?

* Creating lovely patterns.

* Carefully painting the sections on the hat..

* Making our patterns look beautiful and not messy.

What was tricky for you?

* To not be messy and go over the lines.

* Painting carefully in the sections.

* Drawing the patterns carefully.

* Trying to make the patterns big enough.

* Drawing enough patterns to make an even amount.

What will we do next?

* To make a hat for my brother.

* To make a hat with different patterns.

* Make a mask.

I am learning to make a rhyming string (car, far - sat, fat, cat - word families).

"I can think of words that rhyme with other words, like 'look' rhymes with book, hook, shook, took and cook.  Mrs Wyatt, Mum and Dad help me with my reading."

I am learning to write my idea in a sentence that makes sense.

"I am good at finger spaces, and full stops when I am writing.  I find it tricky to sound out some of the words, and I use my word card. I can write two or three sentences.  Mrs Wyatt helps me to do my writing."

I am learning to solve addition problems by counting the objects.

"I love to do Maths at school. This is easy because I can count all the counters.  It is tricky to do the minus problems.  Mrs Wyatt, Mum and Dad help me with my Maths."

What would you like to do next?

*  Bounce the ball to each other.
