I am learning to have a try to spell words.

"I can sound the letters out.  I remember the full stops, and the finger spaces.  Mrs Wyatt helps me."

I am learning that illustrations can help me read the story.

"I like to get the box of books, and read at reading time. Mrs Wyatt helps me with my reading."

I am learning to write numbers correctly.

"I am good at all the numbers.  It was easy for me."

Our Sandpit Rules

What did I learn?

·      Share the sandpit toys.

·      No throwing sand at people or out of the sandpit.

·      Help to tidy up the sandpit before the bell rings.

·      Line up your shoes when you take them off.

What did I find tricky?

·      Helping to pull the sandpit cover on and over.

What was I proud of?

·      I was proud of knowing the rules, and being good.

What help did I need?

·      To put the sandpit cover on.

·      Carrying the sandpit toys to Room 1.

What would you like to do next time?

·      Play longer in the sandpit.

Fitness is Fun !

Fitness: Hurdles and Ladder

What did I learn?

·      I learnt to jump over and not touch the yellow and black lines.

·      Running when I was on one foot, then balance.

·      I had to not fall over.

What did I find tricky?

·      The hurdles was tricky because we had to balance, and go fast at the same time.

·      It was tricky not to knock over the hurdles.

·      Running fas and jumping at the same time.

What was I proud of?

·      I was proud because I could run, jump, run and jump and didn’t knock the hurdles down.

·      I was proud of finishing the ladder.  I was brave.

·      I was proud of jumping over the ladder, and not touching any black or yellow lines.

What help did I need?

·      No one needed any help.

What would you like to do next time?

·      We want to play with balls, and do skipping.
